It is a matter of great pride and honour for me to take over the command of prestigious Frontier of the Force. I convey my best wishes to all the officers, SOs and ORs of Rajasthan Frontier.
Rajasthan Frontier looks after a long and challenging Indo Pakistan Border running over a stretch of more than 800 kms. The difficulties posed by extreme weather conditions and inhospitable terrain make the task of Border Management really challenging.
BSF is regarded as the first line of defense and towards that end it is our paramount duty to ensure impregnable security set up in border areas. This can be achieved by not only physically guarding the border but also through incorporation of the latest technology as force multiplier in our security architecture. We also need to work proactively for the welfare of the border populace in the interest of integrated border management.
The task demands the highest level of professional commitment and towards that end our response has always been to raise our capability and to defeat the evil design of anti-national elements. Let us rededicate ourselves to fulfill the confidence reposed in us by the nation in protecting the territorial integrity of our motherland.
This website is aimed at bringing about transparency in the functioning of this Frontier, particularly relating to areas that have a direct or indirect impact on the general public. Let us all strive towards living upto the motto of our illustrious force"जीवन पर्यन्त कर्तव्य" .
